Back from Paris, but still no time to do anything. I have a journal that I wrote a few things down in during the trip and I'll post those when I have a minute. Working full time for dad (woohoo) and desperately looking for a new job. Still need to organize and unpack. There's a million little projects I want to work on, and silly me, I thought I'd have summer to do it... sigh.

Tonight, though, I'm off to a birthday party and hopefully seeing Ellie; already had a nice dinner with Melanie. Still need to call Robin... I swear, every time I leave my phone for an hour, everyone calls me. And then I spend the rest of the day catching up.

Happy graduation to us, happy birthday to Leanne (and me), happy new job to Ellie, happy veggie-versary to Brannon (I forgot that one earlier), and try to think of Fiona tomorrow as she undergoes surgery. :(

It's 9:51 am and I'm in the school library killing time. Why did they make us get here 3 hours before the buses even arrive if they're only going to talk at us for 2?

I think someone in this group is going to get herself mugged, or something, showing up in an "I heart NY" t-shirt. I don't think they like that in Paris. Just a thought.

I wrote down a bunch of addresses to take with me so be expecting a postcard. You may not get it until after I get back... But that's better than nothing. Except for Ellie, 'cause I don't have your school address. :(

I'm starving... And I have a mess to come home to since I haven't unpacked anything. Blargh. My mind is being pretty random at the moment. I keep going from one subject to another. Sorry.

Okay, well. I don't have anything else to say. I'm not sure I had anything to begin with, really, I was just bored. So bye now, and remember... I'm in PARIS! HA!

I am a college graduate.

Wow, that feels weird. I don't think it's really sunk in yet. It probably won't until I get back from Paris. There just hasn't been time. There's always been something to do, something to think about, no time to really sit and think. I have a list of 13 things (and counting) to do tomorrow and that doesn't include packing. I have to be at school at 7 am on Tuesday, ready to go. We'll drive to Atlanta in buses, get on a plane, and land in Paris sometime on the 20th. We'll get back here on the 19th. It's not really my first choice to spend my birthday flying across the Atlantic Ocean (especially in coach), but I'm hoping it won't be as bad as my last trip. At least this time I won't be traveling alone.

It's been a crazy weekend. I'm very grateful that so many of my friends came to see me graduate. Brannon, Kristin, Kindall, Lyndsey, and Jacob. I hate to admit it guys, but that morning was so crazy I completely forgot you were coming until I saw you! Hence my frantic hugging of Kristin, who was the first one in my path. ^_^ But I'm really glad you came. Now I can't believe it's over. I went back to my dorm room to finish up and laid down on the bed while I talked to Ellie on the phone. After we hung up, I just looked around, thinking and remembering. I didn't want to get up and leave. Robin called, and hearing her voice made me tear up a little. Of course, once I finally finished everything and got the bed set up the way they make us do it, I was so ready to leave it wasn't sad anymore. :) I was afraid the thing was gonna fall on me there at the end, but thankfully, Tegan saved me.

After graduation, my dad took us to lunch at Sinclair's, and then we went back to the house to open my graduation presents. From relatives, I have a total of $470 so far, plus $100 that my grandmother gave me Saturday. Mom, Dad, and Charlie all went in together on an iPod mini (blue!) engraved with my initials and "Graduation 2005" on the back. ^_^ Plus three accessories for it. My dad gave me $500 in Euros to take with me to Paris, and my mom gave me several gift cards to shop with, including one for my salon (yay, highlights!). And Charlie gave me a new keyboard and mouse, which I asked for. So I was quite pleased. ^_^ Then I went to finish moving out of the dorm. I went to dinner with Brannon, her friend Jen, Melanie, and Trey at Lek's, and then we went out to Melanie's for an hour or two (except for Trey who had somewhere else to be), and after that, we went to see Robin at her new apartment. We stayed there a lot longer than I thought we would, but we just couldn't get enough of our Brannon. ;) I don't think we got home until 1 or so. Brannon and Jen stayed with me for the night, and dad made us pancakes this morning before they left. It was great to see Brannon again, I've really missed her. And I'll never forget her classic Brannon-ness when she realized she'd taken all these pictures at graduation... with no film in her camera. Ahh, the memories.

I think that's it for now...
