Your element is Water. You are a deep person and a good communicator. Incredibably loving and loyal when your trust is gained and you are fairly mature.Myterious to the utmost water is in everything. One can be an Ocean or a river but nobody truly knows you.

What Element are you?

What a lovely vacation. Classes were cancelled at noon last Tuesday because of the hurricane, so I went home. Our power went out at the house at 6am Thursday and is still out, as far as I know. I came back to the dorm about two hours ago, but I think my parents would have called if it had come back on. Thursday and Friday were very looooong days. There was nothing to do except read and play board games. So Thursday, we played a four hour game of Monopoly in the afternoon and a game of Scrabble that night. And Friday was a little better since we at least had some light coming in through the windows and I was able to go to work for a few hours. And Friday night, we played another game of Scrabble... There was no one to talk to since everyone had gone out of town. :( And my grandmother was staying with us for two days, so that's always fun. Friday evening, dad pulled out an old screen door for our patio door and put that up so we could leave it open and get some air in, and then he found two or three long panels of window screens to set up in the front door, so we could leave that open, too. I ended up sleeping on the couch that night so I could be by the open patio door. Dad tied a string between the two open front doors and attached a pan to it... So we had a nice, ghetto burglar alarm. And Saturday morning, mom went out and got Krispy Kreme for breakfast; she said there was a line wrapped all the way around the building, which was somehow not surprising.

So anyway. No rehearsal today because only four people showed up; everyone else is either working or still out of town. I guess that means I have to do other work now. Like study for my physical science test that was supposed to be last Wednesday, but is now going to be tomorrow. Sigh.

Ahhh. Life with Amanda never ceases to be interesting.

At least if we're going to boy-cott (haha, get it? yeah, nevermind...), we have each other to keep ourselves occupied. ^_^

P.S. To be perfectly clear, that does not mean we are becoming lesbians.

That is all.

Please, for the love of God, someone tell me why a song from the chipmunk adventure is stuck in my head.

It has been brought to my attention by a certain someone that I did not properly cite the preceding sonnet. So allow me to clarify: I did not write it, Shakespeare did.

That is all.

Now let's all point and laugh at Melanie.

(Heehee... You know I love you.) ;)

As an unperfect actor on the stage,
Who with his fear is put beside his part,
Or some fierce thing replete with too much rage,
Whose strength's abundance weakens his own heart;

So I, for fear of trust, forget to say
The perfect ceremony of love's rite,
And in mine own love's strength seem to decay,
O'ercharged with burden of mine own love's might.

O, let my looks be then the eloquence
And dumb presagers of my speaking breast,
Who plead for love and look for recompense,
More than that tongue that more hath more express'd.

O, learn to read what silent love hath writ:
To hear with eyes belongs to love's fine wit.
