I'm sorry, sweetie! I know I haven't really been all there lately. I've been in a real blah kind of place for the last week. It's not you, I promise. ^_^ I haven't even done any workwork in about two weeks... But shhh! Dad doesn't know that. ^_^ And I get paid tomorrow.

I have so many things to do, but I don't feel like actually working on them. I have no motivation whatsoever. Do you know how many websites I design and/or maintain? *counting* Twelve. Plus another that I'm supposed to be working on now. Ugh. If this doesn't go away soon, I think I'm gonna have to call my doctor.. I feel like I'm backsliding.

The good news is I get to go see a happy movie tomorrow. I hope. ^_^

My newest E-Bay acquisition came in yesterday. The playbill from Audrey's performance in Gigi, 1952. ^_^ It's in really good condition, just kind of yellow with age, and it has all these old advertisements in it; very interesting. ^_^

I finished my first paying job last week. The Alabama Machinery & Supply Co. website is up and running. ^_^ I still have work to do on it, though, which could take awhile. But that's fine with me; I'm being paid by the hour. ^_^

I also have another project to work on; I'm designing a new layout for RPGamers.net. It's not a paying job, but it's something. ^_^ It's more of a favor for a friend of my brother's, really. But I'm not picky. ^_^

I went out with my friends last night. Jessie and Kiki both work at Chappy's Deli, and they always have stories to tell. ^_^ And Heather and Ellie were there, too. Whenever I'm with them, I usually laugh my ass off.

Favorite Stories of the Night

Heather doesn't smoke. However, she apparently keeps a pack of cigarettes in her car should she ever suddenly feel the need to try it. Of course, she hid them so her parents wouldn't find them. She thought the space in her trunk where the spare tire was kept would be a good place, since no one would ever look in there. She just stuck them in the hole in the middle of the tire. Last weekend, she and her parents went to the beach, and of course they got a flat tire. She didn't remember them until they had someone at the car to change the tire. He went to get it out of the trunk, and she suddenly dashed over and grabbed them out. Of course, her parents didn't know what she was doing so she said she was getting her mom's purse. I'm sure she got some weird looks for that one. But this story is nowhere near as funny as the one where she apologized to a roomful of people at a scholarship banquet for her lisp, since she had gotten a tongue ring a couple days earlier. Her parents were there. They didn't know yet. And the headmaster was there, too. One of the funniest stories all year. ^_^ She took it out a few days later, though. She liked it, but she couldn't stand not being able to talk.

Second story was about Kiki at work. She just started waitressing instead of working in the kitchen, and at one table, she set down the food, and one of the people asked where the potato salad was since it was supposed to come with the meal. She knew the kitchen people sometimes hid it under something else on the plate (I don't remember what), so she explained and, without even thinking about it, starts poking around in the food for it. ^_^ When she realized what she was doing, she freaked out and apologized and told them she'd bring another plate. It's just so Kiki. ^_^
