News story for today: Officials Ordered to Rear Cows.

What I find amusing is that they actually have a position called Cow Protection Minister.

And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.

Ellie and I went to see Save the Last Dance this afternoon. It was pretty good; I definitely recommend it. ^_^ And after I dropped her off, I went and dropped off the two movies I had rented before... And got two more. Where the Heart Is and 28 Days. Me? Have no life? Whatever are you talking about?

I sat and looked through college stuff last night. I had to fill out some health forms, and my residence hall application and some other stuff (for Huntingdon College). I swear to God, if they make me write out my address one more time, I'm going to take their application and burn it. Ugh. I actually like filling out forms, but really. Writing out your address 7 or 8 times in half an hour can start to grate on your nerves. A good thing came out of it, though. I found out I can probably get a $4000 academic scholarship, renewable for four years. And considering that each semester is about $5000, that would definitely help. Wish me luck. ^_^

There's nothing quite like the feeling you get after finishing your last freakin' exam! Excuse me while I do my little happy dance.

*coughs* Okay. I'm better now.

Instead of going out tonight, Ellie and I decided to rent movies and.. well, sit and watch 'em. I was pleasantly surprised. We actually chose two movies that were both very good. One in a meaningful, life-like kinda way, and the other in a well-written comedy kinda way. So, if you rent movies soon, I recommend The Virgin Suicides and Loser. ^_^

Now, if you don't mind, I have a four-day weekend to enjoy, baby!

Exams this week don't look like they'll be too difficult. Tomorrow, I have English and French. English is just analyzing one poem by Donne (and after writing a research paper on him, I think we can all handle that), and French will be totall objective, as always.. Multiple choice, matching, etc. ^_^ Then, there's my advanced computer exam.. Which is doing another C++ project... With the walkthrough-guide. Very easy. Then, Government on Thursday. That's the only hard one. I'm gonna have to study my ass off for that thing. Ugh.

And then it's over, and I get a three-day weekend since I don't have an exam on Friday. Joy and happiness. ^_^

My first semester exams start on Tuesday. Ellie will be helping me study this afternoon. ^_^ I really suck at studying by myself. I just can't make myself concentrate long enough. Anyway.. Yesterday, I finished a little project I was working on. My personal site, Aino Jinja, is no more. It's been replaced by starlet. Me happy now. ^_^
